This policy explains what CDS Visuals, LLC ("CDS Visuals," "we," "us") collects when you visit cdsvisuals.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
CDS Visuals, LLC is a video production company based at 377 Rubin Center Drive, Suite 123, Fort Mill, SC 29708. You can reach us at (704) 946-5886 or info@cdsvisuals.com. We produce video for construction, manufacturing, and equipment-dealer businesses.
This policy covers this website. It does not cover video production work performed under a separate client agreement, which has its own terms.
Information you give us directly
When you fill out our contact form or book a call, we collect the information you enter:
- Your name
- Company name
- Your role or title
- Your industry (construction, manufacturing, equipment dealer, or other)
- What you need — a free-text description of the problem you are trying to solve
- Your timeline
- Your email address and selected time, if you book a call
We use this only to respond to you, prepare for a strategy call, and follow up about your project. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use third-party tools that collect information about how the site is used. These set cookies or similar technologies in your browser.
- Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived, and specific actions such as clicking a call-to-action, using a portfolio filter, playing a video, or submitting a form
- Google Tag Manager — loads the tools listed here
- Google Ads — measures whether an ad led to a form submission or booking, and supports remarketing
- Microsoft Clarity — records browsing sessions, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and heatmaps, so we can see where the site is confusing
- Wistia — hosts and plays our videos, and records playback behaviour such as which videos are played and how much is watched
- Go High Level — receives contact form submissions and manages call bookings
We do not control these companies’ own privacy practices. Each publishes its own privacy policy.
Session recording — please read this one
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records your session on this site: the movement of your cursor, what you click, and how far you scroll. We use it to find pages that confuse people and fix them.
These recordings are not used to identify you personally, and we do not attempt to link them to your name or contact details. Microsoft applies masking to reduce the capture of sensitive input. If you would rather not be recorded, see "Your choices" below.
How we use information
We use what we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare for strategy calls
- Understand which pages and videos are useful so we can improve them
- Measure whether our advertising is working
- Keep the site secure and functioning
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that operate this site and our sales process — the tools listed above, plus our email provider. They process it on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions and booking records are kept in our CRM for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship, and afterwards as needed for our records. Analytics and session data are retained according to each provider’s standard retention period.
Your choices
You can:
- Set your browser to block or delete cookies — parts of the site may not work as intended
- Opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity session recording using your browser’s "Do Not Track" setting, which Clarity honours
- Ask us to delete the information you submitted through the form — email info@cdsvisuals.com and we will do it
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under state privacy laws. To make a request, email info@cdsvisuals.com.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
We use reputable providers and industry-standard measures, including HTTPS across the site, to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear.
