Product video production makes complicated machines easy to buy. CDS Visuals produces expert-led walkarounds, demos, how-to series, and launch videos for equipment manufacturers and industrial companies — filmed at your plant, in the yard, or on the show floor, from our base in Fort Mill, SC and nationwide. When the camera cannot reach it, we animate it: exploded views, internal cutaways, and 3D renderings of what is happening inside the machine. BOMAG has produced more than 200 videos with us in twelve months. Hands On Metrology, a ZEISS company, sold five additional scanners off a single webinar built on our how-to videos. You get the hero video, the cut-downs, the stills, and the raw footage.
From the first call to content that's working for you, you'll always know exactly what happens next.
Most agencies hand you one video and keep the rest. You leave every engagement with a full library — tagged, searchable, and yours to keep.
Chicago Pneumatic and American Pneumatic Tools (APT) are long-standing names in construction equipment — large, highly technical products that most agencies struggle to explain. Abigail Helm handles marketing communications for both and wears a lot of hats.
It is scoped on the strategy call and priced up front. The drivers are how many machines you are covering, how many production days that takes, how many cut-downs and how-to episodes you want, and whether the piece needs animation. Travel is included in our scopes, whether the machine is in Charlotte or Kansas.
All three, and often in the same program. Controlled shots happen at your facility; the machine working under load happens on a jobsite; launch and teaser content happens at the show. We plan the mix on the strategy call so one trip feeds several deliverables.
Animation and 3D. Exploded views, internal cutaways, flow paths, and renderings get built and cut into the live-action walkaround, so a buyer sees the component doing its job instead of a diagram in a brochure. Custom animation is quoted as its own line item, separate from the shoot day.
We build a long-form walkaround — typically five minutes or more — for your website, dealer network, and sales team, then cut short-form versions under three minutes for social, ads, and product spotlights. Long enough to answer a buyer’s real questions on the site, short enough to hold them in the feed.
Yes. We produced multi-language support videos for Hands On Metrology, a ZEISS company, so their global customers could follow the same how-to content. Subtitled versions are straightforward; scope any voiceover languages on the call so we can build them into the edit rather than bolt them on.
Only if you want them there — and your product expert is usually the most convincing person available. We write the questions, coach them through it, and cut around the stumbles. If nobody wants to be on camera, we build the walkaround around the machine and a voiceover instead.
Yes — product photography comes off the same visit as the video, so one session hands back edited stills for the spec sheet, the dealer listing and the launch post alongside the walkaround. We don’t sell photography on its own; it is part of what a production day produces.
A production day typically becomes a long-form walkaround plus four or more short-form cuts and photography. Add a how-to series and one machine can carry a dozen assets. BOMAG built a 200-video library that way, and their team pulls clips from it whenever a dealer needs something.
