Training Content

Standardize the floor. Onboard faster.

Clear, repeatable how-to series that train crews, support customers, and cut the same questions.

Why Training Content

Tribal knowledge walks out the door. A library doesn’t.

Training video production gives your floor one source of truth: clear, repeatable how-to and SOP videos that replace tribal knowledge and shorten onboarding. CDS Visuals builds training libraries for manufacturers and industrial companies from Fort Mill, SC, serving the Charlotte metro and traveling nationwide to plants and jobsites. We shoot the procedure the way your best operator performs it, then cut it into short, findable modules — with animation and 3D for the internals a camera cannot see. Brooks Safety Solutions has produced more than 1,000 training videos with us. Every module lands in a tagged library your team and your customers can search, and the files are yours to host wherever you want.

One right way, on the record
The procedure the way your best operator performs it — the same on every shift, at every location.
Onboard in days, not quarters
A new hire watches the module instead of shadowing someone who is needed on the line.
Cut the repeat calls
Answer the common customer question once, on camera, and send the link the next fifty times.
How it works

Six steps. One crew. Zero guesswork.

From the first call to content that's working for you, you'll always know exactly what happens next.

What a training library sells, not just teaches.

#HandsOnMetrology · Manufacturing

Multi-language how-to videos; five extra scanners sold off one webinar.

Hands On Metrology, a ZEISS company, builds some of the most advanced 3D scanning equipment in the world. The hardest part of selling it isn’t the spec sheet — it’s getting a new customer to understand what the system can actually do.

Questions

Common questions about training video

How is a training series priced?

By the size of the series, not by the minute. We build the SOP list with you on the strategy call, group procedures into shoot days, and price the whole program up front with travel included. Adding modules later is a known number, not a renegotiation.

How many videos does a training library actually need?

As many as you have procedures worth standardizing — start with the ones that generate the most questions, mistakes, or support calls. Brooks Safety Solutions has built past 1,000 videos with us over the years, but most companies start with a focused series of eight to fifteen.

Will filming shut down the line?

No. We shoot the procedure the way your operator actually performs it, during production, and work around changeovers and shift schedules. If a step cannot be interrupted, we capture it on the next run. Nobody at CDS expects a plant to stop for a camera.

Can you show what happens inside the equipment?

Yes. Where the camera cannot see — inside a housing, under load, mid-process — we build the step in animation or 3D and cut it into the module. That is the difference between a trainee memorizing a sequence and understanding it. Custom animation is scoped as its own line item, separate from the shoot day.

Where do the finished training videos live?

Wherever you need them. We deliver clean files that drop into your LMS, intranet, dealer portal, unlisted YouTube channel, or the searchable CDS library. You own the assets, so you are never locked into one platform or paying to get your own content back.

What happens when a procedure changes?

We re-shoot the step that changed and re-cut that module — the rest of the library stays as is. Because everything is tagged and organized, updating one SOP does not mean rebuilding the whole series from scratch.

Do the videos come captioned, and can you do other languages?

Captions come standard on everything we deliver. For multi-language needs we have produced support videos in several languages for Hands On Metrology, a ZEISS company. Scope the languages on the call so subtitles or voiceover versions get built into the edit.
