Watch: how manufacturers put CDS to work

See what one shoot day turns into.

A walkthrough of how we work with manufacturers — what a shoot day covers, how fast it comes back, and what you end up owning.

We know your world

Most companies struggle with

You are not selling a sneaker. You are selling a machine that takes an engineer twenty minutes to explain — and most agencies never get past the paint.

01
Machinery nobody outside the plant understands
Your equipment is big, complicated, and technical. A generalist agency shoots it like a car commercial and misses everything the buyer actually cares about. Nobody should have to explain the machine to the camera crew.
02
Product launches that need every asset yesterday
A launch needs a hero video, a walkaround, a how-to, animation for what the camera cannot reach, and a dozen social cuts — all before the announcement date, all on brand.
03
Dealers and reps with nothing to sell with
Your channel is only as strong as what you hand it. Spec sheets do not sell heavy equipment. Dealers need walkarounds, demos, and testimonials they can forward to a customer today.
04
Trade shows that end when the doors close
You spend six figures on a booth and leave with photos. The show should produce months of content — posted while the floor is still open, not three weeks later.
05
Training the floor and the field
Onboarding, service procedures, and safety live in a binder or in one veteran’s head. A repeatable how-to series standardizes the floor and shortens the ramp.
Our approach

Solution-based video built to win you work.

We do not make videos for video’s sake. We build content around a real problem in your business — launching the product, arming the dealers, owning the show floor — then put it to work.

A plan, not a band-aid
One-off videos collect dust. The right content, consistently, pointed at an actual goal — a launch calendar, a channel, a recruiting push.
A field-tested crew
We are not an agency that has never set foot on a shop floor. Years in construction and manufacturing — PPE ready, fluent around the machines, knowing what shot matters.
End-to-end, off your plate
Strategy, shoot, edit, and library — we handle all of it, so a one-person marketing department can hand off a project and know it is handled.
One shoot, dozens of assets
Every shoot day adds to your library with usable video and photos you own and can pull from all year.
What we shoot for manufacturers

One crew. Every format the launch needs.

Strategy, production, and distribution — from the shop floor to the social feed.

Product walkarounds & demos
Expert-led equipment walkarounds that make complex machines easy to buy and easy to service.
Trade show coverage
Booth coverage, hype cuts, and product SME interviews — shot on the floor and posted the same day.
Product launch videos
The hero video and the full cutdown set, delivered on the announcement calendar, not after it.
Animation & 3D
When the camera can’t reach it — inside the machine, underground, or years out — we animate it.
Training & how-to series
Standardize the floor and onboard crews faster with clear, repeatable procedure video.
Dealer & customer testimonials
Your dealers and end users on camera, on site — proof your channel can forward straight to a buyer.
The media library

Everything we shoot, you own.

Most agencies hand you a final cut and keep the rest. We hand you everything — every video, every photo, every clip, tagged, searchable, and yours to keep. Your team finds the shot they need in 30 seconds, not 30 minutes.

Photos
A full still set from every shoot — print, web, and social ready.
Video
Long-form films and short-form cut-downs, sized and captioned for every platform.
Searchable clip library
Every clip tagged and searchable. Pull the shot you need in 30 seconds, not 30 minutes.
Custom branded motion graphics
End cards, lower thirds, and animated overlays — a consistent branded layer that’s yours.

The CDS Visuals guarantee

You carry none of the risk.

Hiring a video partner shouldn’t feel like a gamble. So we took the three things you’re probably weighing off the table.

No long-term lock-in
After your initial scope, monthly partnerships are month-to-month. You stay because it’s working.
If it misses, we fix it
If a deliverable doesn’t hit the brief we agreed to, we make it right — that’s not a revision, that’s us doing our job.
The library is yours, forever
Every video, photo, and raw asset we shoot stays in your library and stays yours — whether we work together once or for years.
That’s the deal. You bring the business; we carry the risk.

Straight answers

What manufacturers ask us first.

Do you actually understand our equipment?

That is the reason most of our OEM clients hired us. We have produced for BOMAG, LeeBoy, Dynapac, Chicago Pneumatic, ZEISS, Xylem, and BrandSafway — compaction, paving, pneumatics, metrology, and access. Abigail Helm at Chicago Pneumatic put it this way: “Our equipment is really big, really complicated, and it’s often hard for other agencies to understand. So knowing they’ve worked with this kind of machinery before made me understand that, yeah, they can take on the challenge.”

Can you hit a product launch date?

Yes — that is how we work. Launches get scoped backward from the announcement date: hero video, walkaround, how-to, animation for anything the camera cannot reach, and the social cutdown set. With LeeBoy we launched four new products in a single year alongside ConExpo coverage.

What do we hand our dealers and reps?

Walkarounds, demos, and end-user testimonials your channel can forward to a customer without asking marketing for permission. Everything lands in a tagged, searchable library your dealers and sales team can pull from directly.

How do you handle trade shows?

We shoot and edit on the floor and post the same day, so the content lands while the show is still happening. Kristi Harris at LeeBoy: “We’re able to continue to stay on the floor while they’re in the background posting all of the content.” BrandSafway credits the ConExpo coverage with roughly twelve times their investment.

Is your crew safe and cleared for our plant?

OSHA 10 certified crew, FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilots, and our own PPE on every visit. We brief with your EHS lead, respect restricted areas and photography rules, and shoot around the line instead of stopping it.

How fast do we get our videos, and how many revisions do we get?

First cut within 3–5 business days on most projects. One-off projects include two rounds of revisions per deliverable; monthly partners get unlimited revisions. If something missed the brief we agreed to, that is on us to fix and it does not count against your rounds.

Who owns the footage, and how long is the commitment?

You own everything — every final video, every photo, and all the raw assets, tagged and searchable, yours to keep. After the initial scope, monthly partnerships are month-to-month. You stay because it is working.

How do you price a program like this?

We price the problem, not a rate card. Three things drive the scope: how many production days you need, how many deliverables come out of each one, and how often we are on site — a launch push, a show calendar, or an ongoing monthly program. Travel and accommodations are built in, so there are no variable travel costs and no change-order games. On the strategy call we scope it against your goals and put a flat number in writing before you commit to anything.

Let’s get to work

Your machines deserve better than a spec sheet. Let’s go shoot them.

One strategy call. We map the launch calendar, the shows, the training gaps, and what each is worth — before you spend a dollar.
