For contractors

Video that wins bids and fills crews.

One field-tested crew turns the work you already do into content that wins jobs, staffs the crew, and finally makes you look as good online as your work looks in the field.

One call. A plan, a timeline, and a number — no guessing.

Watch: how contractors put CDS to work

See what one shoot day turns into.

A walkthrough of how we work with contractors — what a shoot day covers, how fast it comes back, and what you end up owning.

We know your world

Most companies struggle with

You are not short on work ethic. You are short on a way to show it. These are the three things contractors tell us on the first call — every single time.

01
Standing out against competitors
You are bidding against outfits with bigger names and thinner crews. The work is better. Nobody can see it. An owner picking from three bids sees three PDFs — not the job you ran last month.
02
Having professional content they actually know how to use
Somebody shot a video once. It is on a hard drive. Phone clips sit unused in a camera roll because nobody tagged them, cut them, or told you where to post them.
03
Showing up consistently online
Operators, CDL drivers, and finishers look you up before they apply. Owners look you up before they call. If the last post was eight months ago, that is the answer they get.
Our approach

Solution-based video built to win you work.

We do not make videos for video’s sake. We build content around a real problem in your business — winning jobs, staffing the crew, looking like the pro you are — then put it to work.

A plan, not a band-aid
One-off videos collect dust. The right content, consistently, pointed at an actual goal — winning bids, filling roles, or finally looking as good online as your work looks in the field.
A field-tested crew
We are not an agency that has never set foot on a job site. Years in construction and manufacturing — boots on, PPE ready, knowing how close to get and what shot matters.
End-to-end, off your plate
Strategy, shoot, edit, and library — we handle all of it, so you keep running your business while the content does its job.
One shoot, dozens of assets
Every shoot day adds to your library with usable video and photos you own and can pull from all year.
What we shoot for contractors

One crew. Every format the job needs.

Every visit is built to produce a main video, social cuts, and photos — one shoot day, a stack of assets.

Jobsite documentation
High-res footage of the build instead of grainy cell-phone clips. Paving, grading, concrete, utilities — the process, captured on site.
Recruiting video
Show the culture, the heavy equipment, and the crew — so operators and drivers want to work for you instead of the outfit down the road.
Brand & capabilities video
The story behind the company, cut to win work. The video you send before the bid meeting and play in the lobby.
Customer testimonials
Your customers on camera, on site — proof your next prospect actually believes. Shot where the work happened.
Project time-lapse & drone
FAA Part 107 pilots and time-lapse that compress a six-month build into forty seconds of proof.
Safety & training video
Standardize the toolbox talk and onboard new hires faster with clear, repeatable procedure video.
The media library

Everything we shoot, you own.

Most agencies hand you a final cut and keep the rest. We hand you everything — every video, every photo, every clip, tagged, searchable, and yours to keep. Your team finds the shot they need in 30 seconds, not 30 minutes.

Photos
A full still set from every shoot — print, web, and social ready.
Video
Long-form films and short-form cut-downs, sized and captioned for every platform.
Searchable clip library
Every clip tagged and searchable. Pull the shot you need in 30 seconds, not 30 minutes.
Custom branded motion graphics
End cards, lower thirds, and animated overlays — a consistent branded layer that’s yours.

The CDS Visuals guarantee

You carry none of the risk.

Hiring a video partner shouldn’t feel like a gamble. So we took the three things you’re probably weighing off the table.

No long-term lock-in
After your initial scope, monthly partnerships are month-to-month. You stay because it’s working.
If it misses, we fix it
If a deliverable doesn’t hit the brief we agreed to, we make it right — that’s not a revision, that’s us doing our job.
The library is yours, forever
Every video, photo, and raw asset we shoot stays in your library and stays yours — whether we work together once or for years.
That’s the deal. You bring the business; we carry the risk.
Case study

What it takes to be let on a safety-first jobsite.

C.W. Matthews · Construction

Safety-first on site; a content library the recruiting team opens every week.

C.W. Matthews is one of the Southeast’s largest highway and heavy-construction contractors. Safety is priority number one there, which makes a film crew that doesn’t know how to move around heavy equipment a non-starter.

Straight answers

What contractors ask us first.

What does video production cost for a contractor?

We price the problem, not a rate card. Three things drive the scope: how many production days you need, how many deliverables come out of each one, and how often we are on site — a single project, a quarterly refresh, or a monthly partnership. Travel and accommodations are built in, so there are no variable travel costs and no change-order games. On the strategy call we scope it against your goals and put a flat number in writing before you commit to anything.

Do you actually travel to our jobsites?

Anywhere. We are based in Fort Mill, SC and we have shot coast to coast. We show up jobsite-ready — PPE on, gear packed, no babysitting required — and travel and accommodations are included in our pricing.

Is your crew safe on an active site?

Our crew is OSHA 10 certified and our drone pilots are FAA Part 107 licensed. We bring our own hard hats, vests, glasses, and boots, brief with your superintendent, and work around your schedule instead of stopping it. C.W. Matthews put it this way: “Having CDS be so comfortable around heavy equipment really brings a peace of mind to us. Their heads are on a swivel, and they’re not going to be a safety concern for us.”

How fast do we get our videos?

First cut within 3–5 business days on most projects — including weekends. For live events and trade shows we are often turning content around same-day so you can post while the show is still on.

Who owns the footage?

You do. Every final video, every photo, and all the raw assets live in your searchable library and are yours to keep — whether we work together for one project or ten years. Most agencies hand you a final cut and keep the rest. We hand you everything.

What if the weather turns on a shoot day?

We build flex into the schedule and reschedule around weather at no penalty. It comes with the territory in this industry, and we plan for it.

What do you need from us to get started?

A signed proposal and a short onboarding form. From there we build the plan, lock the schedule, and you are mostly hands-off until it is time to shoot.

Let’s get to work

Stop losing bids to companies with worse crews and better video.

One strategy call. We map what to shoot, what it costs, and what it should return — before you spend a dollar.
